Most of us will experience significant loss, grief, trauma, and mental distress at some point; however, we often feel that we have to go through it alone. While our world stops, everyone else seems to continue moving, and that can feel isolating and overwhelming. Whether you just need someone to be with you and listen with empathy and without judgment, are looking to learn skills to feel back in control of your mental well-being, or want to grow to improve your relationship with yourself and others, my hope is to provide these to you in a safe and inviting environment.
I specialize in working with adults and families who are experiencing loss and complicated grief. I am a certified grief counselor, trained in prolonged grief treatment, and am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I like to work with my clients to find a balance of support, empathy and learning skills to manage symptoms.
We tend to start therapy during times when we feel most vulnerable. I try my best to meet my clients where they are at in their journey with mental health and grief and be as honest, understanding, and genuine as possible to build trust and safety in our therapeutic relationship.
