Welcome. I am an LGBTQAI+ centered clinical mental health counselor and addictions specialist providing trauma informed care. I use an eclectic approach suited for a range of ages. My work centers on rebuilding trust in yourself, shifting moods and attitudes towards better understanding of self and others. Working collaboratively with clients I use an eclectic approach to therapy. Using the arts, ecotherapy, DBT skills and EMDR. These evidence based treatments facilitate self expression, emotional regulation, and are centered around your needs and catered to your interests for a body-mind-hands-heart connection.
My emphasis is on building trust and support, assisting in post-trauma growth towards resiliency and wellbeing. I engage clients by adding to their natural strengths, identify resources in a rural area, and adding a treatment of self regulation routines through the use of mindfulness and somatic skills. I work on-call to meet clients demanding schedules.
