My name is Melinda Switzer, MA, LPC, NCC, AACC; Beauty for Ashes Trauma Therapy and Treatment would like to accompany you on your healing journey. “Book with me now by clicking on my website”. I am a non-judgmental, Christian therapist, everyone is welcome and deserves to be able to manage their lives. This can be accomplished by creating a life worth living for themselves and their families, without the shadow of trauma looming over them and affecting everything they do.
My primary specialty & experience is in treating Trauma and symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is characterized by emotional regulation issues, physical struggles, behavior problems, relationship problems, and suicidal ideation. I am trained in and experienced in modalities such as EMDR (certified), TF-CBT & DBT (certified) PBT and Sand Tray.
As one who has experienced complex trauma personally, I believe I can help others who have endured some of the same struggles I have. When your body and mind turn against you, it can be devastating; know that there is help available and I would consider it an honor to be able to walk with you and help you through some of your Trauma related struggles.
