My Name is CourtneyLee Beauregard. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, acceptance, and mindfulness. I am an expert in the field of post-traumatic growth and am skilled in working with disordered eating, dysregulation from anxiety or depression and addiction. I believe the natural tendency of humans is towards growth and healing, but sometimes trauma, negative beliefs and life difficulties can make this difficult to remember or trust. With a compassionate and intentional focus, I use mindfulness-based cognitive, behavioral and spiritual interventions in my therapeutic approach, balanced with practicality and creativity.
The most important component of successful therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. Through my own ongoing exploration, I've developed a self-honesty and humility which helps me to uncover and reveal the sticky parts in the struggles of others.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you lead a more meaningful, enjoyable, and fulfilling life. Whether you are facing a new and unexpected situation or a long-standing concern, I believe supportive challenge in the context of a strong therapeutic relationship, paired with helpful evidence-based strategies, can create insight and facilitate significant change.
