My name is Beatriz Velasquez and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southern California and working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I’m a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist with many years of experience working with different populations and ethnic groups. I focus on young adults, children, and families concerning issues of transitions, depression, anxiety, with a specialization in trauma and perinatal mental health. I use a strength-based and trauma-informed approach that uses mindfulness, Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
