I have had the honor and privilege of working with adults who are experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, postpartum difficulties, parental conflict, life transitions, family dynamics, trauma, abuse, relationship dynamics, and other life challenges. I am eager to help and support you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. As a POC who also speaks Spanish I also strive to consider the systems that impact our ability to achieve what we want in life.
I like to take a gentle, but direct approach with my patients and employ a variety of evidenced based practices such as client centered, family systems, psychoanalytic and trauma informed approaches to help meet my patients where they are at and to best help them. I will work very hard to create a space of safety, familiarity, and trust.
I believe that life transitions and events can shake us in ways that sometimes leave us questioning our decisions and our capacity to bounce back to our life. I also believe that our cultural and environmental surroundings as we grew up can have a significant impact on how we handle stress, interact with others, and communicate. Change is possible!
