Congratulations! You’ve made the first bold step towards your journey of recovery. Whether you are suffering from anxiety, OCD, depression, Grief/Loss or other issues, help is available. As a multicultural and diversity sensitive counselor, I will meet you right where you are and help guide you towards healing and freedom. You will find my therapeutic style insightful, engaging, and nonjudgmental. I work with adults from ages 18+.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which emphasizes the correlation between thoughts, emotions, and behavior. I use it to teach how to change one's thoughts in order to alter unhealthy emotions and behaviors. In addition, I use other modalities such as Mindfulness and EFT (Tapping) to meet unique individual needs.
As a practicing Christian, I incorporate Christian counseling in the sessions to those who request such. Welcome!
