Since 2006, I have been treating post trauma issues and the related depressive and anxiety symptoms that simultaneously occur. My work has not only been with military and first responders, but also survivors of abuse, suicide survivors, and dysfunctions of the nucleus family.
I work closely with those who come to me to understand the biophysical responses to trauma, the interrelation aspects of sleep, nutrition, and hormonal balance on emotional/psychological well being. I work daily with my wife who is an MD to consult and refer for such needs of patients within her scope of practice.
I am a military veteran and have been associated with law enforcement since 1980. I am interactive and directive in my counseling style while always adhering to and using the value systems presented by those with whom I have a therapeutic relationship.
