Hi, I'm Michelle Corey Colson, MA, MA, LPCA, and the owner of Beach Counseling & Wellness Group of SC in Myrtle Beach. Our tailored, integrated, and holistic approach to therapy, wellness, and/or coaching is aimed at helping you navigate life's challenges and find hope, healing, and peace. Our practice focuses on ADHD, Autism (L1), trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, mood disorders, premarital/marital counseling, and Christian Counseling. Moreover, we specialize in child/adolescent therapy (ages 10+) and life transitions in adulthood. Our office hours include weekends to help clients that cannot schedule sessions during the week.
As someone who lives with ADHD and comes from 25+ years of working in corporate America, I understand how a heightened, stressed, and overstimulated environment effects the mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, I practice from an integrated holistic viewpoint to help align these three dimensions of the individual.
We all go through difficult times in life and most of us can come through these times okay. But, for times in life like a death, divorce, job loss, family estrangement, etc., having a therapist who has come through the difficult times (death of a spouse & father) can understand the road that you are traveling.
