My professional goal is to help each person achieve happiness, peace and growth in their lives. I have assisted individuals with coping with and healing from mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, relationship conflict and personal growth. I enjoy helping individuals, couples, and families to increase positive experiences and create meaningful interactions through kind, honest, individualized, transparent professional treatment. I love what I do and I appreciate being able to share what I have learned professionally with the people and communities that I serve.
I have almost twenty years of experience working with individuals and families in the state of Florida and Maryland on a complexity of topics affecting mental health, personal growth and motivation. I have specialized training in positive psychology, attachment and bonding, adoption competency, self injury, childhood trauma and minority/women studies.
My practice is effective, educational, compassionate, consistent, fun and professional all at the same time. I am always mindful that coming in for therapy takes courage and is often sought in one's darker moments in life; therefore I make it my goal to ensure everyone feels comfortable and heard.
