Instead of jumping out of bed excited about a new day, are you hiding under the covers dreading everything you have to do? When you're crumbling or exploding inside, the last thing you want to do is put on "the face" and convince everyone you're fine. You may not know where to turn, but you're here looking for help. That's the best place to start. Our specialty is helping people who haven't been helped by other approaches. We are trained to treat trauma, addiction, depression, bipolar, anxiety, abandonment trauma, and emotional, sexual and physical abuse.

Our team of highly trained specialists will provide the right approach to help you live a joyful life with meaning and purpose. We are authentic, real and down to earth. We help you discover a life that feels good on the inside, not just looks good on the outside.

Are you ready for things to change? Bay Area Mental Health can provide you with the best match for helping you achieve your goals. We offer a free phone consultation, just call or email us. Once we identify the right therapy match, we can set up your first appointment.

Sexual Abuse Support Group for Women

If you have been sexually abused, assaulted or raped you may feel alone and isolated. Survivors is a safe place where you can talk about your experiences with other survivors who have been there and understand. Trauma happened in relationship so it must also be healed in relationship. We discuss issues related to sexual abuse, assault and rape including boundaries setting, safe versus unsafe people, sleep difficulties, trust, shame versus guilt, flashbacks, overwhelming emotions, triggers, problems with relationships and intimacy, and self care. This is a women only group and is a good adjunct to individual therapy.
