I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) and I specialize in helping women and girls who are struggling with anxiety, depression and a variety of feminine specific issues. These may include but are not limited to the menstrual cycle, body image, pregnancy, postpartum, sexual/intimacy related concerns, and motherhood. In my work with Clients, we address both the physical and emotional aspects of wellness and collaborate with other professionals when necessary, such as doctors, nutritionists, or physical therapists.
My approach is holistic in that I incorporate various modalities both old and new (yet evidence-based) to address the physical, emotional, and even spiritual aspects of any one issue. Some particular techniques that I incorporate are: Parts Work, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Guided Imagery, Nutritional Therapy, and Therapeutic Drawing and Writing.
Sessions can vary between being intensely healing, cognitively challenging, or just chit chat when a listening ear is all that is needed at the moment. I am the guide but you determine where you want to go and at what pace.
