I am client-centered and use a holistic approach, meaning I will put you and your needs first while addressing all the factors contributing to your troubles and hindering the fulfillment of your goals. Using CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) we can work to better understand and change your thinking patterns that may be negatively impacting your life.
I am a trauma-informed clinician passionate about treating the underlying distress often contributing to our experienced problems. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I have witnessed powerful transformations using EMDR to process through negative memories. Talking about the past may not be easy, but I will always work at your pace with your well-being in mind.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas, and my education includes a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University. With over 5 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have treated a wide range of people and a multitude of concerns.
