I consider it a privilege and an honor to work with people who want to find balance in their lives. People come into therapy seeking help for a variety of problems. You may be in severe pain, suffering the effects of trauma, stressful events, ruptured relationships or addiction problems. You may need help to achieve healthy emotional boundaries with friends, loved ones, co-workers. Perhaps you wish to live a more full and satisfying life. While I typically draw from psychodynamic, family systems and relational/humanistic approaches, I am very flexible and tailor my approach to each individual.
I do individual and couples work with adults and young adults. My practice is diverse, including writers, medical and legal professionals, musicians, students, stay at home parents, teachers, artists and folks who are trying to figure out their next step. I also work with a growing number of individuals who are struggling with addiction problems.
I have a lot of experience working with addiction and codependency. This includes individuals who are suffering with addiction themselves or those who have partners, family members, or friends who are struggling with addiction. I also have a lot of experience working with couples.
