Rebuilders Zoom Divorce Group starts October 2022
In the 10 week Rebuilders Divorce Recovery Seminar, we work on 19 rebuilding blocks towards healing and recovery from separation, divorce or the ending of a love relationship (Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends book). Participants benefit from meeting others who are going through a similar experience, engaging in small group activities/discussions and completing weekly homework assignments. Through the Rebuilder's class, participants learn how to turn the painful crisis of ending of a love relationship into a creative opportunity for personal growth and change. The Rebuilders Seminar is offered twice a year.
Healing the Child Within Workshop starts Jan. 2022
The HCW workshop (based on Healing the Child Within book) focuses on effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family and the healing process for childhood trauma. Participants “dig deep” into memories from their family of origin to rediscover and reconnect with the “inner child”. Through weekly reading, homework and interactive discussions, participants share their stories and connect with others in a supportive group setting. By recovering the “inner child”, participants reduce the enduring effects of childhood trauma and begin to heal the fear, confusion and unhappiness of adult life. Contact barbara@barbarapherribocounseling.com to register. $375 fee.
Zoom Loving Choices Seminar starts mid April 2022
Tame your “inner critic” and calm your “outer critic” Revisit your family of origin and heal your wounded “inner child” Reconnect with your creative, adventuresome and playful “inner child(ren)” Discard “adaptive survivor behaviors” from childhood (i.e. perfectionist, over-responsible) that are no longer working Take off masks & become “friends with your feelings” Develop your “wise nurturer”, an unconditionally loving and accepting part Learn to balance your “internal parts”, integrate thinking with feeling Develop a loving, nurturing relationship with yourself Learn to give yourself what you didn’t get, instead of seeking this from others Develop your true, authentic self and improve your relationships
