About
My goal is to provide you with a positive, motivating, sincere, and authentic counseling experience. I truly enjoy supporting and empowering children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am committed to partnering together authentically to help solve and resolve personal, interpersonal, family, career and other mental health changes that impact your functioning.
I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger management, stress management, self-image, self-esteem, school problems, interpersonal relationships, divorce, grief, family conflict, parenting, life transitions, crisis intervention, and substance abuse.
I utilize an integrative wellness model to diagnose, counsel and implement treatment. My theoretical framework is based in contemporary psychodynamic therapy, solution focused therapy, the nurtured heart approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices. I also truly enjoy integrating creative arts therapies such as music!
