I have 30+ years experience working in Mental Health. I'm a graduate of KU School of Social Welfare and have vast experience working with diverse clients. In my practice, I work to empower clients to reach their goals. I use problem-solving, positive therapeutic approaches "in partnership" with my clients to reduce co-dependency, depression, anxiety, stress, relationships and parent/child issues.
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strengths Perspective and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients. I also professionally train "conflict resolution", "team-building", "leadership skills", "effective communication" and "problem-solving skills". These are transferable tools that can be used in any situation, individually or for groups.
