I specialize: marital & relational therapy, trauma, PTSD and emotional and sexual abuse. Anxiety & depression: worries & fears and helping with feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. Helping divorcing parents in practical ways to work with their children at home to decrease their emotional hurt. Helping military couples manage their unique challenges.
I am trained in both Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Institute Marital Programs. I am trained in Gottman Institute Affairs and Trauma Program. I have studied trauma-based therapies (e.g. Bessel van der Kolk, MD), working with individuals who are shamed and guilt-ridden in their lives due to past traumas.
