Counseling is a way to develop the skills to effectively manage the sometimes bumpy path of life's journey. Working from a holistic, strengths-based approach, I encourage and support client's to draw upon their inherent wisdom, by working through challenging transitions. As an Integrative Psychotherapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor I draw upon a variety of therapeutic orientations to meet the unique needs of each individual.
The heart of my counseling practice is mind-body integration-- focusing on the whole person. My advanced professional training includes Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), therapeutic Eastern Wisdom traditions, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, grief/loss and bereavement issues.
