I help people live satisfying lives. People come to see me for various reasons. Those reasons include depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, and trauma. Some people have trouble eating, sleeping, having sex, socializing or keeping their bodies safe from harm. I help people understand what they are feeling and how those feelings are being expressed.
I help couples understand that they are each responsible for the feelings between them. If one member of the couple is feeling an emotion the other is likely to feel similarly. Each member of the couple is not as alone as he or she might believe. I help couples understand the dynamics between them.
Awareness developed in therapy is vital to how my clients proceed with their lives. I meet with most clients on a weekly basis. Other clients choose to meet multiple times during the week.
