Hello. My name is Barbara Phillips, and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have 23 years of experience working in the mental health field. My experience includes treating clients who need help with anxiety, depression. stress management, anger management, grief management, and self-esteem. issue. I work with adults 18 years old to 90 years old. The conditions I feel comfortable treating include anxiety, depression, stress management, anger management, grief, and self-esteem issues.
I use a client-centered approach with my clients. I strive to create an environment in which my clients feel safe and comfortable working with me. I have had people who helped me get through challenges I was facing in my life, and this inspired me to become a therapist. My faith in God has also given me the desire to help others.
