I enjoy working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns. I provide psychological testing and assessment. I develop specific goals together with clients and their families, and work closely with physicians and other referring professionals to coordinate treatment. I have particular expertise in treating sexual abuse and complex trauma, depression and bipolar disorders, and adolescent behavioral and emotional disturbances.
I practice psychological assessment and testing from a collaborative assessment model. At the beginning of each assessment, I work with the client to identify the specific goals and questions to be answered by the testing. Feedback is provided in clear, accessible language with practical recommendations for further treatment.
I have been a practicing Clinical Psychologist for over 25 years. I have worked extensively in psychiatric inpatient settings, and enjoy strong collaborative relationships with psychiatrists in the area. As an adolescent specialist, I work closely with pediatricians and school counselors to address difficulties in social, academic and educational functioning.
