Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
"Why am I not over this already?" If you find yourself asking that, maybe I can help. I work with people struggling due to past experiences or recent trauma. Whether the impact those experiences have on them is big or small, I believe that healing and hope occur within a healthy therapeutic relationship. I've been privileged to help hundreds of struggling individuals.
I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma. That can be abuse or neglect as young children or during adolescence or recent trauma. It's common for me to work with clients and have them say their struggles have lessened significantly in a short period of time.
My primary therapeutic tools include EMDR, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems-informed psychotherapy. These support my belief that healing and help happen when there's a good working relationship between the client and the counselor. Let's talk. There's hope for the hurting.
