Each person brings an unique set of strengths and challenges to our sessions. I listen to the unique needs and concerns and provide feedback based on exploration of those issues which interfere with a person's ability to live life to the fullest-whether it be the self-image of a child,concern of a parent, self-esteem of an adolescent, confusion of a young adult, life challenges of an adult, grief and loss of an older adult.
I initially focussed my speciality on children and adolescents. I have since worked with persons of all ages and have developed a repertoire of skills in doing so.
My practice has been enhanced through my work with the school system. My knowledge of challenges faced by a child and adolescent has given me a unique understanding of this population.
My involvement and training in crisis work has provided me with a sensitivity to issues of anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.
