I have worked in the mental health field for over thirty years in a wide variety of settings including a mental health clinic, psychiatric units, long-term care facilities, substance abuse facility (both residential and outpatient) and my private practice since 2001. I have helped clients with a many different issues including depression, anxiety, worry, panic attacks, stress and burnout, mood swings, life transitions such as career or job changes, relationship shifts, empty nest, self-esteem and confidence building. Additionally, I have provided clinical supervision for LPC and LCDC Candiates.
I offer both in office and telehealth appointments by video or phone. I utilize treatment approaches gathered from my formal education and over eight hundred continuing education hours acquired during my life as a counselor.
My journey Includes a master degree in counseling, undergraduate studies in anthropology, psychology, and integrated honors which fosters a deep desire to understand what promotes emotional well-being.
