We all need a helping hand once in awhile to be the best versions of ourselves and cope with all that life brings us. I have over 25 years experience in the medical Social Work field and special training in Hospice and Palliative Care. Grief and loss is something we have all experienced and are currently experiencing through this Pandemic. My expertise is working with individuals that have medical challenges and need assistance with adjustment to chronic illness and decreased quality of life.
I have worked in both inpatient outpatient and home settings and know how to navigate and advocate for clients' needs. My approach is patient centered and strength based. We all have strengths and starting to refocus our direction on our strengths helps to give us the courage to face challenges and find positive ways to cope.
I like to integrate concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Solution Focused to approach our work together. I am new to this tele-medicine platform but am looking forward to connecting with you and guiding you through whatever stage in life you are struggling with.
