About
I specialize in Career Counseling. Most people experience career challenges at some time(s) in their lives. Right now, you might be thinking a lot about your career. Your job may be insecure. Or you may be wondering whether you would be happier in a new job or career. For 18 years I've had the privilege of helping clients explore and sometimes change to a new career; find a new job (including resume tailoring and interview practice); and tackle on-the-job problems (difficult bosses top the list).
For example, if you are considering a career change, I would ask you questions, perhaps use assessments, provide resources, and guide the discussion so you would come to a better understanding of your strengths and what would most satisfy and fulfill you. If you are looking for a job, I would teach you best current job search practices and provide resources.
I try to create an atmosphere of warmth and collaboration, assuring that we address your particular needs. Often my clients work with therapists at the same time as we focus on career issues. Clients tell me they appreciate my knowledge, support, and down-to-earth practicality that help them tackle tough problems and find solutions that work best for them.
