Hey, my name is Bobbie Hayes and I’ve been a therapist for over 40 years. I’m lucky enough to get up on a daily basis and do a job that I love. I’m a Mental Health Counselor and also a Certified Addictions Therapist. My goal is to help clients take a look at the story that they’re telling themselves about their life and then use whichever clinical approach would best suit their needs for creating change. I do a lot of work with narrative therapy, Gestalt, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a buried type of clientele I have a strong background in both addictions and eating disorders. However, my practice is with relationship issues, helping people discover who they are, and women’s issues. There is more, but this was to name a few.
I do both virtual and face-to-face sessions with those clients that I see face-to-face. I really like my office because I find it to be cozy and soothing. I also try to take the same environment when it comes to my virtual sessions without having distractions in the background and knowing that my sole focus is you.
