Greetings! I am Barbara Fountain a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with 15 years of counseling experience. I have a passion: for providing counseling to adults, children/adolescents, & families.Successful therapeutic outcomes depend on a good working relationship! A collaborative approach that includes therapist and client working together to reach the client's identified goals. My approach is an integrated psychotherapy style where I attempt to meet the unique individual treatment needs of each client In a warm, positive environment. I provide culturally appropriate services that empower & equip clients with skills necessary to succeed! My motto is:" Strengthening Families to Succeed."
The two most important roles we ever get to play in life (that of spouse and parent), come without any training. As a result, we have the greatest potential to hurt & leave lasting emotional effects on those we love the most!
I'm passionate about strengthening the family unit by utilizing their individual strengths & providing skills and tools necessary to succeed! I'm also a conference speaker; provide Workshops Presentations, & Training. In addition, I provide supervision for LPC Interns.
