Coronavirus, gun violence, climate change-It’s hard to feel good in these times. Perhaps you’re afraid to leave your house, avoiding friends, or up in the middle of the night dreading the next day. Maybe you’re feeling unmotivated, sad, hopeless. You are not alone; you are trying to cope with a chaotic world. It takes courage to seek change. If you’re ready to take that step, to start healing, defining and working on your goals, I may be able to help. My interest is working with folks to help them understand and adapt to life changes, loss, grief, building resilience. There is no obligation to call and see if I can help.
I am a trauma-informed therapist with many years experience working with bereaved clients, helping them cope and adapt to life after loss and trauma. I use a mind-body approach which may include CBT, mindfulness, breath work, yoga, grounding and centering to promote calm and innate healing.
