Have you been betrayed in an intimate relationship and feel like your whole world has changed? I can help you make sense out of what has happened and end that feeling of chaos in your life. I work almost exclusively with betrayed partners (spouses, life partners, significant others), including those who are in a relationship with someone who has a sex, pornography, or love addiction. Partners often experience depression and anxiety, and suffer in isolation because of the shame and guilt associated with these addictions. Their feelings of anger and desire to regain control of their lives often consume them.
If you have been betrayed in an intimate relationship, I can help you develop tools and coping strategies to deal with the chaos created by your partner's betrayal and/or addiction. My specialty is helping partners move from viewing themselves as victims to survivors to thrivers.
I have a unique blend of successful personal recovery experience, specialized education and life experience. I have been trained in Dr. Patrick Carnes' methods to treat sex addiction and betrayal trauma. This gives me the education and supervised practice necessary to treat betrayed or traumatized partners.
