I provide therapy for men and women around life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, marriage and relationship issues, guilt and shame, recovering from physical or sexual abuse, sexuality, identity and self image, spiritual development, spiritual abuse, church and ministry. 35 years of pastoral ministry has given me great exposure to issues across an adult life span including singleness, finding life direction, finding a life partner, empty-nest, mid-life crisis, retirement and finding fulfillment when life and health is diminished by age.
My experience includes 30+ years of pastoral work in spiritual formation. If a client desires,I am able to integrate spiritual direction and psychology to support a client in seeking healing. I provide both immediate support while exploring long-term solutions and changes in client's lives.
I offer clients a 55-60 minute therapeutic hour as opposed to the normal 45-50 minute session. I believe that clients need those extra minutes to process, debrief and just breathe as they do the work that brought them to therapy. I also offer a free one hour consultation.
