Barbara Byers, LCSW. My approach to therapy involves building a relationship with the client in order to better understand and assist. I believe in understanding all areas of the client's life in order to provide them with the best experience. I work primarily from a trauma-informed perspective in order to help clients understand themselves and others. I work best with women and men between the ages of 18-45. I work best with trauma survivors and those struggling with relationships, interpersonal issues, family issues, anxiety, and depression.
I like to create a safe space for my clients by providing space to talk freely without judgment. I became a therapist because I wanted to assist others the way I was assisted after experiencing trauma as a child.
