You are not alone in your anxiety or feelings of sadness that cause a strain on your life and relationships. As a trained Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) therapist, I am passionate about working with couples to establish ways to deepen their bond and strengthen the connection they long for. As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) -trained therapist, I help clients who have experienced trauma to discover the burdens they carry from past experiences and through healing, find their courage, connection to others, creativity and calm within.
I work with adults moving through life transitions, trauma, couples counseling and depression and/or anxiety. Many of my clients are in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been trained in EMDR and also EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples counseling. I recently completed Level One of Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience between client and therapist and that I can help you find peace and wholeness. I also believe that everyone has the strengths, resilience and resources to create and live a meaningful life. I am here to help those with amplified anxiety and depression reestablish a sense of vitality and balance.
