As the Director of a Family Services program on Long Island, the challenges of helping the elderly, young adults, teens, children and married couples were always interesting for me. I have extensive experience working with Adult Children of Alcoholics, learning disabled students and their parents, socially akward people, and couples struggling in a marriage.
By building a trusting, confidential relationship with my clients, I have seen them grow in self-confidence. In the presence of a supportive therapist, clients are free to be themselves and work towards becoming more comfortable with whom they are. We all need a helping hand at times in our life journey. Life is difficult at times for everyone.
I believe in getting to the heart of issues. My clients have told me that I am sensitive and sensible. Therapy and growth is not always easy, but my clients have found it is always worthwhile.
