With 15 years of practicing therapy, I understand that therapy is a unique experience for everyone. Because of that, there is not a one size fits all approach. You and I will work together to take a comprehensive look at factors in your life, both past and present, that contribute to what has lead you to reach out. As a certified EMDR therapist, pulling largely from the cognitive and somatic dance, I meet clients where they are at in a person-centered approach. In your work with me, we will carefully look for the ways you can come Full Circle and close those loops that may be keeping you stuck.
I primarily practice from a person centered, psychoanalytic, EMDR approach. In my practice, the client and their needs always come first, while we creatively balance psychoanalysis pulling heavily from EMDR and the somatic and cognitive dance. We will artfully explore what brought you into therapy through the lens of the past and how it impacts the present.
Walking with people through a part of their path is my passion. I believe that all of us benefit from exploring our lives with trusted others. It is my goal to provide a safe, professional and person-centered environment fostering an envirmoment in which individuals and couples can explore, learn and grow.
