Therapy provides a confidential place to talk about personal experiences, thoughts, feelings, and challenges. Individuals who come to therapy may have experienced a situation that disrupts thinking, mood, feelings, and the ability to relate to others. Persons may also seek therapy because they want a neutral place to talk about general life experiences. Children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families need a place to feel supported, receive guidance, and learn new ways to handle life's challenges. My approach incorporates the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of individuals as they attain their goals.
My role is to help individuals, couples, and families understand their situations, learn strategies to improve communication, and cope with potentially stressful situations. I provide tools to help manage difficult feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Therapy is a process of growth and development enabling healing and freedom to move forward into the future.
I am a licensed psychologist who has been working in a variety of treatment settings, including inpatient, outpatient centers, and currently private practice. I enjoy helping, teaching, and empowering individuals to move beyond the blocks presented to them. I provide an encouraging environment and many tools to explore yourself and your relationships.
