Hello. If you are looking for a therapist, the most important thing is for you to work with someone who will relate specifically to you and can help you heal. I work with each client as a unique individual with a goal to heal the whole person. Real and lasting change comes not only from an understanding of your issues and concerns, but from creating corrective emotional experiences that allow you to release old and unproductive patterns of thinking and behaving.
My work is holistic, recognizing the interconnectedness between mind, body, emotions and spirit. With a background in anthropology, nursing, psychiatry and mind-body medicine I tailor my work to your needs, concerns and present priorities. We work in an environment of trust, honesty, and mutual respect - a place where therapeutic changes can occur more easily.
Blending techniques and theory from several therapeutic models we use: Person/Transpersonal Centered, Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems theory; Therapeutic Hypnosis; Body Centered Breathwork; Gestalt; Energetic/Mind-Body techniques; Use of Authentic Self.
