I provide individual, couples, and family counseling to men and women who are always in pursuit and looking to inhabit themselves. Many of my clients carry a belief that they can only take up space, be cared for, or be loved when they are thinner, more successful, more experienced, more healed, or more desirable. We'll explore the experiences that shaped these beliefs, understand how they continue to show up in the present, and develop practical ways of responding differently. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I want you to stop treating your current self like a waiting room for your real life. I help clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves so they can engage more fully and meaningfully in their lives right now.
