I began my career working with substance use disorders and mental health disorders in
2006. The first 13 years of my career were centered on helping individuals and families
recover from substance use disorders which often included co-morbid mental health
disorders. The latter part of my career has been primarily focused on women’s health. I
have specialized in helping to support women who are facing infertility, loss or
miscarriage, perinatal and postpartum mood shifts. I truly enjoy supporting women
while they navigate motherhood and all that this brings. I work with women age 18 and
up.
I use a holistic approach with a focus on mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems. I love to help people heal and grow in their relationship with self and others. I am a trauma informed therapist, treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and mood disorders.
I am a certified yoga teacher and believe it is important to incorporate the body into
therapy. I help people engage with their nervous system and take control of their stress response. Whether you or a loved one is struggling with ongoing mood disorder symptoms or are going through a difficult experience, I can help you to feel more grounded and confident.
