Hi, I'm Jessica, and I can't wait to meet you. While I work with a range of counseling needs, I'm most passionate about helping clients facing trauma and significant life stressors. It's not uncommon to feel like your life is unraveling during these times — and that feeling alone can be exhausting. I offer a safe, supportive space to process and heal, free of judgment. Together, we'll work to build healthier self-perceptions and stronger relationships, so you can know yourself as peaceful, whole, and safe again. No matter what brought you here, you don't have to carry it alone.

If you're carrying the weight of a traumatic experience, you may feel stuck between wanting to move forward and not knowing how to begin. I work with both children and adults struggling to acknowledge, process, and heal from trauma, whether it happened recently or years ago. My goal is to help you find real peace and build practical skills to create the life you actually want, not the one trauma left you with. I rely on evidence-based practices, but I also bring my own sense of humor, warmth, and intuition into every session, because healing doesn't have to feel clinical or cold.

You are more than your problems, even though some days it can feel like that's all there is. It can be hard to even name what you need on your own, let alone ask for it. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, victimization, addiction, or chronic stress, I'm here to help you build a plan around your own strengths, ideas, and goals — not a one-size-fits-all script. Over a decade of practice has taught me that real change starts by meeting clients exactly where they are, with warmth, compassion, and zero judgment. Together, we'll figure out where to begin and what effective, lasting change actually looks like for you.

I understand that we all experience emotional struggles at some stage in life — struggles that can be difficult to manage alone. I'm committed to helping you reach a place of real emotional resolution, using cognitive-behavioral strategies and positive coping skills to help you regain a stronger sense of control in your life. Together, we'll work to understand the importance of self-care and positive thinking as you navigate life's stressful moments. We can't always fix our problems outright, but I believe learning to manage the stress around them can be genuinely life-altering and lead to better outcomes for you.

The 4th trimester (the first 3 months after birth) is a pivotal time in any birthing person's life. Whether it's your first baby or your fifth, major physical and emotional shifts are happening, often alongside postpartum anxiety, depression, or just feeling overwhelmed. Your medical provider typically won't see you again until 6 weeks postpartum, and that's usually a single visit. We believe you deserve connection and support right away. We offer in-home, in-office, and telehealth visits during the 4th trimester, tailored to your emotional support needs. Maybe it's once. Maybe it's weekly. We'll be there as often as you need us.

Is your teen struggling with stress, anxiety, sadness, or big emotions that are hard to manage? You're not alone, and neither is your teen. Many parents reach out when they see their child stuck, overwhelmed, or showing changes in mood, behavior, or relationships — and aren't sure how to help. I work exclusively with teens ages 13 to 17, giving them a space designed just for where they are in life. Recognizing that one size doesn't fit all, I use a mix of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), tailored to your teen's specific needs.

I'm an immigrant, mother, military spouse and woman...and those things alone make me unique. I am an unconventional therapist that can break things down in simple terms rather than clinical jargon, while still providing therapeutic support. A lot of times we steer away from therapy because it feels like a place of judgement and vulnerability that we're not ready for. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and supported as we work together. Anyone can come and talk for one hour a week, but the real effort and magic happens when you're able to take the information learned in therapy and add it to your everyday life.
