Therapy with me is a process of self-discovery. While clients often come to counseling hoping to reduce anxiety, heal from trauma, or survive a difficult season of life, I believe something deeper is possible: the opportunity to better understand yourself and, in doing so, become more fully who you are (after all, it's never too late to become who you're becoming). My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and deeply compassionate. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely accepted, not because you've earned it, but because every human being is worthy of curiosity, care, and respect.
I primarily specialize in the treatment of PTSD/complex trauma, developmental trauma, and dissociation. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Theory, somatic (body-based) approaches, and parts-oriented therapy.
I especially enjoy working with clients who are curious about themselves, those who are seeking to understand recurring patterns, relationships, overwhelming emotions, or parts of themselves they've spent years avoiding. Therapy isn't about "fixing" people. More often, it's about understanding yourself with greater compassion.
