I work with older adults, particularly individuals experiencing dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or isolation, using individualized cognitive and emotional engagement tailored to each person’s abilities and interests. I also support caregivers and family members navigating the emotional challenges of caring for an aging loved one.
My work utilizes music, movement, reminiscence, art, sensory stimulation, games, and conversation to access emotions, foster connection, stimulate cognitive function, and create moments of joy, purpose, and dignity.
Caring for an aging loved one can feel emotionally overwhelming, especially when you are trying to balance their changing needs while preserving their sense of identity, joy, and connection. You do not have to navigate this process alone. My goal is to help older adults feel engaged, seen, and emotionally connected while helping families feel supported.
