About
Have you reached that critical point in your life where you find yourself lost in a dark place, unable to find your way forward? Are you frustrated that nothing in your life seems to be working out the way you hoped? Perhaps you are feeling sad or have lost a sense of meaning or purpose. You may be weighed down by worry, gripped with hopelessness, or wrestling with memories of events you wish you could forget. You have tried to cope with your feelings in ways that only make things worse. You feel harried, worn out, miserable, and confused. You’ve asked yourself if anyone can really help. If any of this sounds familiar, let's talk.
I have been in the helping professions for over thirty years as a counselor, chaplain, and psychologist. My background includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatry and substance abuse settings. I have helped individuals, couples, and groups heal past wounds, reconcile broken relationships, and chart a new path forward aligned with their life purpose.
My approach is warm, empathic, and collaborative in order to create an environment of trust and openness, a place where you feel safe to give voice to those thoughts and feelings you had not dared acknowledge. I work with you at your own pace to establish goals for therapy and then give you the tools to achieve greater freedom, wholeness, and happiness.
