Therapy works best when you're ready to consensually make therapy the priority. Suffering is a part of life and we work together to cultivate a compassionate relationship with the inevitable suffering that will show up in life between now and the end of our lives. My education and experience is with people living with anxiety, depression who are Gay, Trans, Non-Binary, Cis Women and Men, often at the intersections of childhood trauma, chronic illness/pain (Rare Chronic Illness, ALS, early on-set Dementia, MS, Parkinson's, TBI, Stroke, Cancer), end of life, caregiver burnout, and issues around Consent and Sex-Positivity.
Mainstream systems teach us that if we feel difficult emotions, something has gone terribly wrong. This causes us to become disconnected from our sense of wholeness: mind, body and relationships. The approaches of Mindfulness, Compassion and Positive Psychology support the cultivation of relationship with the naturally occurring experiences of suffering.
If you are looking for an empathic, warm, and compassionate presence for you in your experiences, the joys and suffering of your life, with kind and gentle awareness, please reach out when you are ready. I am open and stay informed regarding the research on diversity of human experience and expressions across all the various ways we show up.

The way we evolve toward anything we wish to transform is for us to understand things as deeply as possible. This happens through contemplative practices, as well as traditional talking therapy, and then practicing the ways you really wish to be, how you wish to relate to how you feel, and how you wish to relate to the beings and world around you. Talk and then Practice is key.
