As an immigrant I understand that social and political dynamics impact our mental health. I view an individual as a whole and consider how cultural backgrounds and social justice issues impact the individual. My approach to therapy is informed by interpersonal, cultural, and experiential theories. I also draw from self-compassion and mindfulness practices.
