I am a compassionate and experienced Psychologist with a strong background in relationship therapy. I provide a therapy that is active, warm and at the same time challenging enough to help you achieve your goals and reach enjoyment in your life. For 20 years, I have helped couples and individuals overcome the obstacles in their relationships and come to a new understanding of their choices and circumstances.
I utilize evidence-based methods of Emotionally-Focused Couples therapy and The Gottman Method for treatment of couples. I help couples gain awareness of their attachment needs, triggers and repeating unhealthy patterns. With this insight, couples learn to break out of maladaptive ways of relating to one another and rebuild friendship and intimacy.
In my work with individuals, I utilize Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior therapies. These methods work well in helping clients dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma learn adaptive skills to regulate emotions, increase self-awareness, improve interpersonal relationships and learn to tolerate stressful situations.
