I’m experienced with mindfulness, energy psychology, psychospiritual integration, and motivational interviewing.
Certain life experiences can lead to negative subconscious programs and core beliefs that cause us to feel fear, anxiety, shame, disempowerment, or to live in some state of dysregulation and disconnection from our true selves. Healing is a holistic process and therapy can play a vital role in that process. I believe having the “right” support and guidance can make all the difference.

My trainings and techniques that have shown to be very effective in these areas vary from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Interpersonal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Mindfulness.
I view counseling as an opportunity to partner with my clients on their journey towards positive change and achievement of emotional/mental health. In my practice I enjoy working with adults individually. I specialize in trauma treatment and engage Prolonged exposure which has successfully alleviated trauma symptoms for many of my clients. I also utilize interpersonal family systems, and attachment theory in order to help clients learn more about themselves than they ever have. We will create skills and process together, to alleviate any disrupting symptoms of depression and anxiety. I am offering in person and virtual sessions.

That may be a mindfulness-based approach where we focus on training your attentional skills, compassion-focused interventions that help you to reduce inner conflict, or a somatic-based approach to help regulate emotions.
We run. We hide. We fight. We comply. And nothing changes. The stress/pain remains. We go to bed and get up the next day to do it all over again. Maybe you're at the beginning stage of coping with a stressful event. Maybe you know you need support. Maybe you don't know what you need. Maybe you're feeling out of options. Life can throw some difficult, seemingly impossible, events at us. When that happens, it's normal to feel out of control. But there is hope. I’ve spent over two decades helping people remove obstacles to living a more fulfilling life. You can feel in control again and experience life as joyful and fun.

I use CBT, DBT, and Solution Focused work, using mindfulness, breathing techniques, visualization, and goal setting to help clients reach their short and long-term goals.
My ideal client is someone who comes to therapy in a time of need. They might be experiencing anxiety due to life changes and transitions or they might be experiencing symptoms of anxiety for the first time and be concerned as to where the anxiety came from. The client might be processing loss or grief from a loved one or past friendships and or relationships. My ideal client will have needs such as needing to identify coping skills to get through life stressors, assistance with reaching goals. As a therapist I would be able to provide the client with a objective perspective to bounce their ideas and situations off of.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy the most but incorporate other types like mindfulness and energy psychology to best tailor the therapeutic experience to the individual.
Using education & experience as a foundation to work from, I'm confident in my ability to support clients needs. My counseling style is very holistic, empathetic, relaxed, lots of smiles & laughs. Im best fit for those seeking a therapist that's willing to keep client accountable for their choices & those ready to unlearn what’s no longer healthy or helpful.

Inspired by mindfulness, somatic work, EMDR, and IFS, my approach is integrative, client-centered, and holistic.
It takes time to pick up the pieces. Parts of you may feel broken, paralyzed, and unheard. With intergenerational systems of dysfunction, very few of us grew up with anything approaching healthy relating. As mammals, we can use the natural force towards connection along with regulating our autonomic fitness to return to our joyful and intuitive self. I can help adults and teens create movement in the isolated "stuck places" and integrate unprocessed pain and suffering. I am passionate about serving children who also highly benefit from therapy by communicating their inner world through play.
