I am a compassionate and empathetic person, and my goal as your therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental setting while you embark on your gender journey. My therapeutic approaches include motivational interviewing, EMDR, solution-focused interventions, and person-centered engagement. Shortly after receiving my bachelor’s degree, I moved to Arizona and began my journey to discover my authentic self. In 2009, I made the courageous steps to live authentically as a transgender man and medically transition. Therefore, I bring a wealth of knowledge regarding resources to therapy.

Dr. Jessica Cowan is a clinical psychologist. She provides an individualized approach, grounded in evidence-based interventions and the power of authentic human connection to help translate her client's therapy goals into action. Dr. Cowan is currently scheduling new clients for February 2022 for telehealth appointments, she is anticipating offering limited in-person services to clients in the Seattle area starting in April. Dr. Cowan is not currently accepting insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider.

There are times in our lives when we need help restoring our relationships. As a therapist with 30 years of marriage experience, and significant clinical training, I believe working together I can help you reach your goals. As a therapist I have seen that two things seem to be necessary to start the healing process, mercy and empathy. When a person experiences mercy, it opens them up to experiencing empathy for the other. Using Gottman Method Couples therapy as the foundation, I will work together with you to accomplish the restoration of your relationship.

Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked with young adults in higher education and I've worked a middle school counselor in the Paradise Valley Unified School District; I have experience with adolescents through adults.

With a master's degree in social work and over ten years of experience, Caroline brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her therapy practice. Her extensive experience includes working with military populations, school settings, acute and long-term mental health centers and much more.

I specialize in gender dysphoria, anxiety and trauma. Our journey together is about healing past wounds & shedding the negative beliefs that are keeping you stuck & away from the joy that is your innate right to experience. The struggle to lesson anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria and/or the pain of past traumas has led many of my clients to self-sooth through a variety of ways including eating, smoking, drinking, gaming, & toxic relationships. Through therapy, including EMDR and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, my clients not only get unstuck, they soar.

Hello, I’m Carlyn (pronouns she/her) I believe love and belonging are at the core of who we are and how we connect with others. My experience as a mother of three has helped me understand how attachment plays an important role in how we develop. Our early attachments, trauma, and life experiences can create incredible discomfort and we learn ways to cope and survive, that are not always helpful. Some people think that going to therapy is about getting advice from someone, but our job is to help you learn to trust yourself. My goal as a therapist is to be accepting, non-judgmental, and help to create a safe space for you to grow.

Sometimes life is just hard. Whether it is situational, relational, behavioral, or emotional, at times life can be plain stressful and overwhelming. My goal is to help you sort through the chaos and provide you with the tools and resources needed to create long-lasting changes.
