Other common areas related to my focus revolve around men's issues in life, relationships, and work.
Porn addiction can slowly wear down trust in a relationship, leaving one partner feeling deeply hurt and inadequate while the other feels stuck in a loop of guilt, secrecy, and broken promises despite all their willpower. With time, this often turns into growing distance or even a sense of betrayal. If this is your reality, you are not alone. What may start as normal screen time or social media can slide into porn sites, cam sites, or OnlyFans and become a pattern that is hard to control, even for men disciplined in every other area of life.

You’ve done many of the things you were told would bring fulfillment, yet connection still feels out of reach. Relationships leave you feeling unseen, emotionally alone, or quietly rejected. You replay past dynamics, wondering why closeness never lasts or why you keep holding parts of yourself back. Over time, that distance creates a sense of emptiness and self-doubt, as if you’re performing rather than being known. You long for relationships that feel real, steady, and mutual, but you’re trapped in patterns that aren’t working. It’s time to look beneath the surface to understand why the intimacy you’re seeking feels unsafe.

I bring a deep respect for your personal journey, shaped by both my own life experience and many years of professional practice. I specialize in working with women and the unique challenges they face, but I also work with men and individuals of all gender identities who are seeking support, growth, and healing.

Insight isn’t the problem. Most people I work with already understand their patterns. They’ve been to therapy, read the books, or even used AI to sort through their thoughts. And yet, when it actually matters, in the middle of a conversation or moment of pressure, it all goes out the window. That’s where I work. I focus on helping you catch and shift patterns in real time so you can respond differently when it counts.

I Don’t Know—and That’s a Good Place to Start! Many people come to therapy feeling pressure to have answers: Why am I like this? What’s wrong with me? How do I fix it? In my work, “I don’t know” isn’t a failure—it’s often where change begins. I practice from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach. ACT is especially helpful for people who are smart, capable, and prone to overthinking, yet still feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected. Rather than trying to get rid of difficult thoughts or emotions, we focus on changing how you relate to them—so they stop running the show. Many of my clients “seem fine” on the outside, but…

Tell me if this sounds familiar— you and your partner aren’t seeing eye-to-eye on an issue. This turns into a frustrating argument with hurt feelings, and one of you wants to fix things right now, while the other wants a break. In the meantime, both of you feel unheard and are becoming more disconnected from each other. Maybe you aren’t struggling in a relationship, but you don’t have motivation or excitement in life. You have tried pushing through hard days, but it doesn’t seem to be working and you want a new path forward. Whatever your road to arrive on my profile, I am so glad you did. Let me explain how I might be able to help.

Therapist in Scottsdale helping individuals and couples reconnect with intimacy, desire, and emotional closeness. You imagined a relationship full of connection, intimacy, and ease, but somewhere along the way, it changed. You may feel more like roommates than partners. Maybe you grew up with shame around sex, never learned how to talk about your needs, or have been avoiding sex because of pain, anxiety, trauma, or pressure. Deep down, you long for the feeling of being wanted, confident, and close. You want sex to feel safe, exciting, and meaningful again. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep struggling in silence.

Many people come to therapy because something in their life is no longer working the way it once did. Perhaps you’re feeling disconnected in your relationship, repeating patterns you don’t fully understand, navigating a major life transition, grieving a loss, questioning a long-held role or identity, or facing a future you never expected. On the outside, life may appear fine. Internally, however, something feels unsettled.

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.

How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.

What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
